You feel like grabbing a bite somewhere, but you aren’t in the mood for the typical restaurant. You want variety of food because you’re not even sure what you’re in the mood to eat. I have a wonderful suggestion - the food truck collective or a food truck park. Google your local city for the melting pot collection that will create a fun time and hopeful great eats.
MONDAY BITES in Lancaster
When I visited my family in Lancaster, California over the summer, my niece talked about a park that hosted food trucks on Monday evenings . We arrived around 7:30pm but the event begun that day around 1pm. Surrounding food trucks were participating in the event while the main stage near the DJ, a chilo artist was just ending her session as we officially entered the park. Random strangers - kids and adults started dancing to the vibes the Dj was playing - they all looked so happy to be there and enjoying the nice weather. Some were really letting loose. My niece and I went straight for the food trucks rather than the music.
The 9 food trucks made a circle around the inflatable attractions they had for the kids to run around, jump and play on. There were a few pinic tables, blankets on the grass, lawn chairs and lines that could give you an idea of the best food. Such a great array of options; bbq, tacos, Korean bbq, greek, dounuts, lemonade, and even a mac n cheese truck - including a vegetarian and vegan fare truck.
Families, couples, friends and I'm sure food lovers all gathered for this weekly summer festive event. I quickly took pictures with my cellphone before the sun began to set. I was torn between really being in the moment with my family and yet getting enough for a possible blog post. My food choices was the most unhealthiest thing but yummy.

They are based on creating a gourmet truck experience combining the best food trucks with a fun and family-friendly vibe. They also can provide the experience to any venue- no matter the size- big or small.
