This Michigan beauty is not only a paternal twin, she's a married mother of five gorgeous children with a tenacious creative personality that lead her to pick up a camera seven years ago and she hasn't stopped since. Capturing those fleeting moments of her kiddos through photography, Kai Davis is able to put all of her artistic talents to use. I first meet Kai through church camp back in the 90's. She is still as humble, pretty and outgoing as I remember and I was able to reconnect with her via Facebook. However, I had no idea the magical yet tangible moments I saw appearing on my feed were hers. Don't judge me okay - had a slow moment/moments when I saw Kai Davis Photography. I thought the pictures were ads from editorial or lifestyle magazines and sites. Photography has been a passion of mine since grade school and I love seeing women doing their thang in this industry but most of all going after their passions. Kai has cultivated a style with her photos that's for sure. It's reflective of her own beauty and magic which she exudes naturally.

Q&A 1. Were you named after someone?
My Mother named me after a weather reporter on TV 2. How did you get involved with photography?
I was playing around with my camera when my son was born. I had no clue what I was doing at all. Lol, I ended up posting on FB and I got a few inboxes from people requesting pricing. I began to practice and shoot friends and Family and boom Kai Davis Photography was born. That was 7 years ago. Not to forget the countless hours of research and learning the market. 3. What or Who inspired you?
The art in capturing life's moments caught my attention. 4. What did you want to be when you were a child?
Paleontologist 5. What were you doing before you started officially pursuing a career in photography?
I was a Stay at home Mommy (Still am)
6. What has been the hardest part in developing and maintaining your career so far?
Balance!!!! 7. What would you tell your younger self when it comes to where you are now in life?

8. What do you want to be known for?
My sweet caring, giving heart. I Love people.
9. How would you describe your style of photography?
I like to tell a story with my photography. Photojournalistic is my style

It was AMAZING!!! I think I may have cried a little. It's a great feeling when you team up with some of the industries best and see your vision come to life displayed for the world to view.
