Champagne & Sequence | Transitional Spring Outfit
Updated: Oct 18, 2020

Hey You!
Can you believe it already...March is almost over and it's officially Spring. This weekend, I celebrated my sister Robin P's 35th birthday. It was a nice dinner with close family and friends. Spring showers have been in full effect lately in Atlanta. For the past 4 weeks, there hasn't been a week without rain. This weekend was no different, however, it stop just in time for us to enjoy a little sunshine and some warmth.

Another thing I did this weekend was, I’ve sorted through my closet for light weight sweaters and jackets, dresses, shorts, and sandals. A few days ago, I came across this champagne sequence sweater I purchased 2 years ago and fell in love instantly all over again. I’m loving anything blush or champagne colored and the crotchet/knitted detailing adds the perfect boho-chic touch - in my opinion. It’s the perfect transition piece into Spring. The weather was really breezy as I stopped through a pre-summer BBQ gathering. I got there early and decided to make it a post for my blog.
I enjoyed wearing this knitted sequence top because I can wear a camisole under this sweater. I then paired it with distressed jeans, an olive light weight military jacket and dressed the look up a bit with some grey booties - they kept my feet warm. These booties have been my go-to for Fall/Winter and now into the early part of Spring. I love how they go nicely with my Slate grey BeBe hand bag. I think this outfit is an ideal way to layer for Spring's changeable temperatures and weather conditions. My jacket has a hood just in case there is a drizzle of rain from the sky. As the saying goes - April showers brings May flowers. Well, it seems March wants in on that action as well.
What are some winter/fall wardrobe items that you will be bringing into your spring style?
